When the Prophet (ﷺ) Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam performed the Subh/Fajr (morning prayer), he would supplicate –
“Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.” English Translation: “O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.”

Thank you for your question. In this particular hadith, the words “عِلْمًا نَافِعًا” are referring to what has been translated as “beneficial knowledge”. But you can ask an expert Arabic speaker to learn about it properly.
